Winston has been with LTK since 2016 and has more than 28 years of project, engineering, and construction management experience in the transportation and public transit industry.
Winston, whose regional responsibilities include Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and West Virginia, currently serves as the Project Manager for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s 7000 series vehicle procurement program. Prior to that, he established Simmonds Construction Services, LLC, and served as its President and CEO.
Winston earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Ryerson University. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Engineers Society of Western Pennsylvania.
He served a past Chair of the American Public Transportation Association Light Rail Technical Forum, and currently serves on the Secretary on the Board for the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum. In his spare time Winston enjoys playing and coaching hockey.
