Ray Carini, who has worked at LTK since 1980, is a veteran of nearly four decades in the transit/railroad industry. Previously he was the Vice President of the Middle Atlantic Region, where he used his experience and expertise to consistently deliver successful projects.
He has managed major, multiyear projects in the U.S., Canada, and France involving design, implementation, procurement, contract negotiations, and financial analysis. He has experience in all aspects of complex engineered-to-order rail vehicle procurement projects, including selection strategy, contract management, project scheduling, and cost control. He also has provided claims management, railroad/transit operations, maintenance planning, and management information system design and implementation.
Before joining LTK, Ray worked at Consolidated Rail Corporation, where he conducted route analysis of Conrail’s freight network to determine more efficient routing and shop operations to reduce operating and capital cost requirements.
Ray earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering-Transportation from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Newark College of Engineering/New Jersey Institute of Technology. He enjoys traveling, golf, bicycling and sailing.
