Los Angeles, CA

When citizens in California’s largest city need to use public transportation, they turn to Metro Rail, which carries over 360,000 passengers each weekday. The Metro Rail system is a relative newcomer, having started service in 1990. But don’t let that fool you. Los Angeles and railways go back to the 19th century with the Pacific Electric Red Car, while the Yellow Car lines opened in the 1860s. The rail system continues to expand, with several extensions currently either in development or being proposed.

LTK opened its Los Angeles office in 1985. It’s located downtown, in the Fine Arts Building, a Renaissance-style stone building that was declared a historic cultural monument in 1974.
