“The Second City” as it’s known, Chicago operates the nation's second largest public transportation system. The historic “L” operates over 100 miles of rail in the city and surrounding suburbs. Along with New York, Chicago is one of only two cities to offer 24-hour subway or elevated train service. The L has been an integral part of Chicago since it began in 1892 and is widely credited with the growth of the city’s dense, distinctive downtown. In 2005, Chicago Tribune readers named the “L” #3 on its “Seven Wonders of Chicago” list, behind only Wrigley Field and the lakefront.
LTK opened a regional office in Chicago office in 1992 and maintains its offices on LaSalle Street inside The Loop.
