Hatch LTK is pleased to announce that Donna Bowers, the former Chief Operating Officer of the Rock Region Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO), has joined its staff as a Systems Consultant.

“Donna brings a valuable owner-operator’s perspective to the Hatch LTK team,” said Dominic DiBrito, Managing Director, Infrastructure – USA. “This will be incredibly important as we help our clients adapt to a changing commuter demographic, climate-change-driven sustainability goals, and a host of opportunities brought about through technology advancements, all in the budget-constrained environment that is an everyday reality for transit agencies.

Bowers, the COO of Rock Region METRO for the past six years, brings 13 years of transit experience to Hatch LTK. At Rock Region METRO, the largest transit agency in Arkansas, she oversaw day-to-day logistics and operations projects, including the implementation of the METROtrack system app that provides commuters with real-time arrival information.

Prior to joining Rock Region METRO, she spent six years with the Denton County Transportation Authority, where she served in multiple roles, including operations manager.

“I have had the pleasure of working with individuals from Hatch LTK several times over the last decade, and my experience has always been outstanding,” said Bowers, who will work out of Hatch LTK’s Dallas office. “I have always held them in high regard and been impressed by their passion, professionalism and commitment to excellent work. I knew that was something I wanted to be a part of.”

Bowers earned an undergraduate degree from Texas Woman’s University. She was recognized by Mass Transit Magazine as a “Top 40 Under 40” honoree in 2017. She is also a participant in the 2021 Leadership APTA class, a professional development program offered by the American Public Transportation Association.
