LTK recently celebrated “Hank Raudenbush Day” as he passed the 50-year service mark at LTK. Company President George Dorshimer honored Raudenbush with a celebration and the naming of LTK’s technical library as the “Hank Raudenbush Library.” Raudenbush worked for the Long Island Rail Road and New York City Transit early in his career, joining LTK in 1966. His LTK work has included a wide variety of rail vehicle assignments with projects taking him around the world, including the Philippines, China and Brazil. He has managed several large-scale vehicle programs, including the procurement of many of the M-series cars for Metro-North and the Long Island Rail Road. His celebration at LTK’s headquarters office included a large cake created as a scale replica of the original LIRR M-1 series car.
