The employees of LTK Engineering Services made donations to three Northern California charities to help the victims of last month’s wildfires in Sonoma County.
The devastating fires claimed 42 lives, destroyed over 6,900 structures and 110,000 acres, and caused at least $1 billion in property damage.
The personal donations, which were matched by LTK, will benefit these preselected charities:
- The Sonoma County Resilience Fund, which is addressing the mid- to long-term needs of the county’s recovery effort.
- The United Way Bay Area, whose recovery fund provides numerous services, including rental assistance to low-income families to prevent evictions.
- The Redwood Empire Food Bank, the largest hunger-relief organization in Northern California.
“This type of generous response from our employees is not surprising.” said Dominic DiBrito, President of LTK Engineering. “We are a family of caring individuals who don’t hesitate to help others.”
